Das frühlingshafte Wochenende habe ich genutzt, um an meiner Winterlandschhaft weiter zu arbeiten. Das Thema bietet mir die Möglichkeit, meine Lieblingsfarben einzusetzen. Ich mag Weiß in all seinen Varianten kombiniert mit Beige- und Goldtönen besonders gerne. Von meinen Indienreisen habe ich viel weiße Seide mit gebracht und beim "Festival of Quilts" in Birmingham kaufe ich an einem bestimmten Stand gerne schöne Seidenstoffe ein. Ich experimentiere oft mit den Möglichkeiten der Veränderung von Oberflächenstrukturen. Durch Quilten und Besticken versuche ich interessante Effekte zu erzielen. Kunstfasern behandle ich bisweilen auch thermisch. Meine Winterlandschaft ist zwar erst im Entstehen. Trotzdem einige Bilder von Details der Landschaft.
